Holiday Makers Market 2021!

As we have with our previous markets, Cohost will be set up as a boutique. Makers will not stay with their goods (as at a traditional market). This allows makers to be free to make!

(And allows us to stay flexible with any COVID restrictions that arise for indoor gatherings.) 

Because makers will not be in the space with their goods, we work hard to keep the connection between the creator and the creation. We have a "Meet The Makers" wall with headshots and intros (which will also be posted on social media). We ask that makers provide business cards and happily help customers with any questions they have.

Our makers markets focus on locally handcrafted goods. This can include repurposed and upcycled items. If you are not sure if your goods qualify, please send an email to hello@cohostspace.com.

Our sales weeks are as follows:

Week 1: November 27 & December 1 - 4

Week 2: December 8 - 11

Week 3: December 15 - 18

Week 4: December 21 - 23

Pricing is as follows:

(Cohost will take a 15% commission on all sales. The fees below are a flat rate to participate. Please see our FAQs for more details.)

Shop hours will be:

Wed - Fri : 11am - 5pm

Sat : 10am - 4pm


Makers will plan to drop off of goods the week prior to the market's start. Pick up of goods will be after one week of sales. Once your spot is confirmed, we will specify pick up and drop of times.

Cohost will take all precautions possible, but is not responsible for stolen goods. We recommend that makers insure their goods.

Applications are due by Sept 24th. All makers will be contacted by mid-October. 


Cohost opened in Sept 2019 with a vision to provide our community with a place to gather and share ideas, skills, and laughs. We have morphed a bit in the last year, trying to find a way to bring together the community we love so much – without being able to physically gather the way we did in our early months.


For most of 2021, we hosted Makers Markets in our space. We offered local creators (of everything from chocolates and stuffed animals to jewelry and bath products) an opportunity to sell their amazing work in a boutique environment on Main Street. Stepping into our Makers Market is like walking into any other shop; except that everything for sale has been made locally by people that we know. It’s been a big “shop small” and “shop local” kind of year, and at Cohost, you can do both a hundred times over.


The advantages of shopping locally go beyond our four walls. We bank locally, so our finances are managed by folks that live here. A lot of our vendors source their materials from local farms, salvage yards, antique shops and family run stores. By offering unique items, we are able to keep downtown vibrant and busy. Shopping at our Makers Markets supports a lot of local businesses at once, and that is so thrilling for us.

We will be offering a wide variety of locally made goods that will change each week. Like everyone, we are staying fluid and flexible, and while we’re setting an optimistic schedule, we will stay in very close contact should any restrictions/closures affect us. That said, as a retail space, and not an in person market (where vendors stay with their booths) we should be able to continue operating as “usual”.
