{Mom Concepts}
I’m so glad that Carrie’s handling the Mom Concepts.
.
Because mine would be an engraved plaque with drawings of scraped knuckles from putting on the top bunk’s fitted sheet, a homage to the near-daily reimaging of ground beef and the gift of wiping several butts a day.
.
Carrie’s concepts are much cuter. Like adorable etched trays and magnets, paint-it-yourself wooden postcards and lightweight earrings. Her ideas are much much better and easier to wear than mine would be.
.
(She’s also in a little friendly competition with her husband to see whose decal design sells better… come pick up your favorite and we’ll let you know who wins! Psst: I’ll give you a hint when you’re here – I’m on her team.)

{Barn Cat Creations}
There’s a lesson to be learned here…
.
Diana stated making soaps as a way to be creative and have a just-for-me thing. With two babies 14 months apart (I am one of the millions of people that have asked if they’re twins, but in my defense, they were wearing matching outfits and both had the cutest pig tails), Diana needed an outlet. And we’re so glad she found soap making!
.
Her soaps smell and feel amazing – and with names like “Sunrise” and “Cashmere Luxe”, she’s offering you a little slice of Me Time, too.
.
Step One: Lather up and close your eyes.
Step Two: Inhale deeply and be transported to a magical, great smelling land of clean hands and free spirits.
Step Three: Return to earth with lightness and love.
.
This process will work just as well with her solid dish soap – and you’ll return to a sink of washed dishes!
.
Boom!

{My Friend Jen}
You’re gonna want her to be your friend, too.
.
She’s the kind of gal that will bring enough snacks for your kids, too. She will tell you that there’s something weird about your hair, reaction and/or breath. And, if you’re the luckiest, she’ll help you redorate and rearrange your shop on Main St every 2 weeks…
.
You’re also going to want her to do a batik of one of your favorite photos (swipe to see the one she did for me of my husband and daughter on the dock). She made a memory more memorable.
.
She’s THAT good.

{Urban & Range}
Luxury is limitless.
.
And it’s not all velvet and first class tickets. (Though if you have some of those laying around, I’m happy to take them off your hands.) Sometimes, a good hands-over-the-head, groaning stretch feels so luxurious. Or chocolate fondue.
.
Or a jar of black label gorgeousness that smells like heaven and feels like a sacred act to light. This is Dominique’s gift to you: a moment of luxury sitting beautifully on the shelf, waiting patiently for you.
.
And for all my neutral décor ladies (I know so many of you!), this will go with EVERYTHING you own. And my modern farmhouse lovers. And the bohemian bunch. And the eclectic ones (me)…this candle will work for all us.

{FMP}
We all have a best dressed friend. My son has 3.
.
FMP is a collaborative family project driven by the 3 Lejeunekopp boys: Falco (7), Mirko (5) & Pascal (3). You will not be surprised to learn that their parents are local branding legend Adam of @madak and interior style goddess Tessina of Madak Interiors.
.
Growing up in a creative household has given the kids the talent and confidence to design their own FMP line of clothing, bracelets & hats. They’re made for kids, by kids, so they’re comfy, wash well and are as unique as your kiddo.
.
Learn more about FMP and view some of their fun hats at www.madak.style
.
Side note: I am always bummed that my kids have nothing cool to wear, and…um…I’m the one that does their shopping. Shame on me. I’ve got to up my game – this is where I’m starting.

{Wackadoo Homestead}
{Wackadoo Homestead}
.
I want to be adopted into the Wackadoo family.
.
I mean, at the very least I would learn how to play cribbage on a gorgeous, handmade board (@wackadoowoodworking).
.
I’d also be able to consistently lather up with amazing soaps and cleansers (@wackadoo_bodyworks) and I’d always be eating delicious food (@wackadoobbq). These Wackadoo folks…man, they do it ALLLLLLLLL.
.
Woodworking has been a passion of Brandon’s since he was a boy taking nails from his dad’s shop and pounding them into everything. Through high school, he learned more fine detailed craftsmanship building furniture. He’s shifted gears a bit as an adult, slowing down in the shop and working now on small things others can enjoy. He’s currently working with a wide variety of woods…everything from hard maple from the Pacific Northwest to padauk and wenge from Africa. The colors pop on his cutting boards, ring boxes and cribbage boards.

{Triple Lotus Wellness}
You can make a mess, but you have to help clean it up.
.
I am a broken record of “clean up your mess” with my kids. I’ve read that parents should keep repeating themselves until the kids get it because while we all wish they’d hear it once and log it, they don’t; but if we stop saying it, the kids think it doesn’t matter any more.
.
It’s EXHAUSTING.
.
Elise knows the struggle (3 kids under 3!) and started making bath products without all the BS ingredients over a year ago. Her bath bombs come in every scent and she has sugar scrubs, massage oils and salt soaks galore. No tub? No problem. Enter the Shower Steamer – pop a little disc on a soap dish and crank the shower up to 11.
.
So I guess, in the end, Elise is helping me clean up my (hot) mess.

{Contour Creative}
Into the wild.
.
Whenever I see one of Devan’s shirts, it’s on a person out in the wilderness, and my first thought is that it’s in its natural habitat.
.
Because Devan doesn’t make clothes. Devan handstamps adventure apparel, and I think you can feel the difference. I wear clothes to work. I want to pull on one of Devan’s sweatshirts in the middle of the night on a camping trip when the fire is getting low and the stars are shining bright and we’re all super tired, but not quite ready for bed.
.
In Devan’s words: “I always loved beautifully printed shirts but felt like none truly expressed who I was. So I decided to make some myself and turns out, others like them, too.”
.
Yes, we do.

{MEG&CO}
Never mistake simple for boring.
.
My grandmother used to wear giant jewelry. I remember hearing my mom refer to it as “costume jewelry” – not to her face! – and I thought it was such a weird thing to say.
.
But I think it fits: those big chunky pieces that wear you more than you wear them. The ones that you feel the whole time you’re wearing them. They are begging to be noticed – like people that carry parrots or snakes around in parks. I have pieces like that – but I don’t wear them often.
.
Meghan’s “effortless embellishment for everyday” jewelry is a curated bunch. Each piece can be worn solo or layered for greater effect. Her earrings, bracelets and necklaces all go together without being matchy matchy. The designs are easy to wear and are the only pieces I travel with any more. Meghan’s a preschool teacher and is always perfectly accessorized.
.
No matter how you wear these pieces, you will feel put together with your personality at center stage.

{RhinoCat Designs}
If you can’t say something nice, have it printed on a tile so it seems like someone else said it.
.
Honesty might be the best policy, but it can certainly get you in trouble. Frannie’s sassy tiles make it easy to show off your feisty side without starting a riot.
A couple of my favorites?
“Karma is only a bitch if you are.”
“Thou shalt not try me. Mom 24:7.”
“Let’s keep the dumbfuckery to a minimum today.” (I know some folks that would do well to see that a couple times a day…)
.
And if you’ve already said all you need to (well done!), Frannie also creates beautiful laser-cut wood and acrylic art. The laser allows for really intricate designs – her Mama Bear is a perfect example. And because they’re so light, a small nail will keep them floating on your wall.
.
No dumbfuckery there.

{Coastal Massage Therapy & Wellness}
The power of touch.
.
You know that scene in a Rom-Com when the guy offers to rub the gal’s shoulders to show how nurturing he can be? And he stands behind her for 3 seconds and she realizes he’s The One and she turns and kisses him? I think that’s what my husband thinks massages are: just rub half a shoulder and she’ll fall so in love with me (again) that she’ll forget all about her achy muscles and just want to make out.
.
Well. I won’t be the one to say those movies aren’t real life. I’ll just say that when that scene comes on – it’s more “Com” than “Rom”.
.
When my body is hurting, I want someone to dig in deep. I want someone that can name which muscle is tight, and explain how it helps me move. Someone that will check the pressure to make sure it’s just right.
.
Kaia is that someone. I leave every massage I’ve had with her like Pinocchio trying out his new human body. All my creaks and stuck spots gone, with a little extra pep in my step.
.
Kaia will be offering 15-minute chair massages for $15 (only $1 per minute!) in a private space in the back of the shop. Spots are available every Friday (!) from 12-4pm. You can book your session on our website: www.cohostspace.com/massage
.
As a part of her massage practice, Kaia sometimes uses spa products from Cannabis Basics, a woman-run Seattle company that’s been creating CHABA (Cannabis Health And Beauty Aids) products since 1994. We will have Cannabis Basics lotions, oils, sugar scrubs, and soaking salts (all with CBD and less than .3% THC) in the shop as well! All are super high quality and smell amazing.
.
And there’s more! Kaia also makes spa wraps; hand-sewn, rice-filled neck wraps that you can pop in the microwave to warm and apply to sore muscles. Paired with a little CBD cream, and you’ll be loosey goosey in no time!
